zv1

zv1 is the assistant that helps you build AI with ZeroWidth. Ask it how to scope an opportunity, wire up a flow, or make sense of an eval — it knows the tools and what you're working on, and carries the thread from one to the next.

It shows up two ways:

• Docked in every tool — a chat panel always within reach, from Compass to Workbench to Napkin. zv1 can look at your Napkin sketches, record and recall Ledger decisions (writes wait for your approval), and cite what it used as tappable cards.
• Full-screen at chat.zerowidth.ai — the home for longer sessions, and the mobile-friendly way to think a problem through anywhere.

Both are the same assistant with the same memory: a conversation you start docked continues full-screen.

What it does

• Scopes, builds, and measures AI across the ZeroWidth tools — from "what's worth trying?" in Compass to "does it hold up?" in Caliper.
• Knows your context — which tool you're in and what you're working on, so you don't have to re-explain.
• Remembers — conversations persist per workspace, so it picks up where you left off.

Where it fits

zv1 is the connective tissue over the improvement loop: the same thread whether you're mapping a workflow, building a flow, or reading an eval. It's an in-product assistant — there's no separate API to call; you talk to it inside the app.
