Your workspace
home.zerowidth.ai is the door into a workspace. It's a file browser over everything your team has made — the flows, datasets, maps, sketches and decks that live in the tools, alongside the files you've put there yourself — plus a way into each tool.
It's laid out in three columns: your folders and tags on the left, what you're looking at in the middle, and what's waiting for you on the right.
The middle
At the workspace root, the middle column leads with Continue where you left off — the last few things you actually touched, so picking up yesterday's work is one click rather than a hunt through a tool.
Below that are your folders, and the tools themselves. Open a folder and the middle column becomes its contents.
Folders
A folder holds anything, from any tool: a Compass map, the dataset that proves it, the deck you presented it with, and the PDF the client sent. A project's things sit together instead of being scattered across tools.
Make one with New folder, drag things in, and drag folders into folders when a project earns sub-parts. A thing can sit in one folder at a time, and moving it doesn't change what it is or who can see it.
Tags
Tags are the other way to cut the same pile, and they overlap where folders don't: one thing can carry several. The Tags list in the left rail is every tag in the workspace — click one to see everything wearing it, across every tool.
Files
Drop a file anywhere on the browser to upload it — or paste one. Files are up to 50 MB each, and what a workspace can hold in total depends on your plan.
Open a file and you get a preview, its name (which you can rename in place), where it lives, and its actions. The one worth knowing is Use this file in… — pick a tool and what it should become, and the file turns into a real thing in that tool: a doc in Napkin, source material in Compass, a document in a knowledge base.
Deleting a file takes it out of the workspace, not just out of the folder it was in.
What's waiting for you
The right column is the part you check rather than browse:
- Needs you — anything paused on a person. A task waiting at a gate, an approval zv1 is holding, a review that needs your rating.
- Recently — what's been happening across the workspace, including what the assistants did. You can narrow it to just your own.
Search
The search box covers the whole workspace, across every tool, rather than whatever tool you happen to be standing in. It's the fastest way back to something when you remember what it was called but not where it lives.
