Chat and Microsoft Teams with Copilot

Chat or Microsoft Teams with Copilot?

Teams is where your company meets, calls and chats, and Copilot summarizes it. Chat is where a team works one question through with Zero and its agents, and records what it decided in ZeroWidth.

In Microsoft Teams with Copilot

The decision links back to the room that made it

Where the two part ways.

  1. 1

A sidebar ends in a decision

Copilot recaps what was said in a meeting or channel. In Chat, a sidebar works one question through, and a person settles it as a decision with what the team expects to happen.

  2. 2

    The room checks back

Each decision goes into Ledger with a date to check it. When that date comes, a card lands back in the room that made it.

  3. 3

Zero works on your ZeroWidth work

In a room, Zero reads and drafts edits to your Compass maps, Workbench flows, Caliper evals, Ledger decisions and Napkin docs, and every edit waits for a person.

  4. 4

Your own agents sit in the room

Publish a flow in Workbench and it joins a room as a member. A teammate can also bring Claude Code from their own machine.

  5. 5

    Private rooms stay private

A private room is invisible to everyone outside it, owners and admins included. In a room, Zero reads only what the whole workspace can see.

When Chat is the right choice

  • Meeting recaps pile up, and nobody can say what was decided.
  • You want each decision checked against what you expected.
  • You want the assistant to work on the same maps, flows and decisions your team does.
  • You want your own agents answering in the conversation.

Meet in Teams. Settle the work in Chat.

Most Microsoft companies keep Teams for meetings and everyday talk, and open a room in Chat when a question needs Zero, an agent or a decision on record.

  • Paste a meeting recap into a room, and ask Zero to pull out the open questions.
  • Connect a Microsoft 365 MCP server, and Zero can read the files behind a question.
  • Share the link to a settled decision in the Teams channel that raised it.

Questions

Can Copilot read our ZeroWidth workspace?
Agents that speak MCP can read your ZeroWidth work through its MCP server, and any write waits for a person to approve it.
